Website and enquiry terms
These terms apply whenever you use ews1form.co.uk or send an enquiry about an EWS1 form through it. The site is run by Ews1 form. By using the site, or by submitting the enquiry form, you're accepting these terms.
The job this site does
ews1 We are not the specialist firm that contacts you afterwards, and we don't carry out inspections, surveys or any building work ourselves.
Making use of this site's content
You're welcome to read this site and to print a page for your own, personal use. The words, images, design and underlying code belong to Ews1 form or to those who've licensed them to us. Please don't copy any of it for publication elsewhere, frame it inside another site, scrape it, or otherwise misuse it.
What these pages are not
ews1 Everything published here is general information about EWS1 forms, not a survey, report or advice about your particular building. It shouldn't be relied on in place of having the property properly inspected.
Sending us your enquiry
There's no charge for filling in the enquiry form, and doing so doesn't create a contract between you and us. Your enquiry, with the details you gave, is passed to one specialist firm covering the area you told us about, so that they can contact you about it. They use it only to answer your enquiry and to arrange any visit or work you agree with them, and from that point they are responsible for how they handle it. We do not pass your details to anyone else for their own use. Once a specialist has your enquiry, anything that follows, whether an inspection, a quote or any work, is agreed directly between you and them, under their own terms. The specialist may pay us when we pass the enquiry on. You pay us nothing, and you are free to get quotes from anyone else. You remain free to seek quotes from anyone else you choose.
The specialist's own responsibility
The specialist who contacts you answers for their own inspection, advice, quotation, work and any guarantee they give. If something about that work needs raising, please take it to them first, though we're glad to hear about it too.
What we can and can't promise about this site
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we don't promise either. We may change, remove or add to any part of it without notice.
How far our liability goes
So far as the law allows, our liability to you in connection with this site or an enquiry is limited. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where a link takes you elsewhere
A link from this site to another website doesn't mean we run it or stand behind it. We're not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any site we happen to link to.
If we revise these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to any later visit, but it won't change the terms that applied to an enquiry you've already sent.
Which courts and laws apply
These terms are governed by the law of the place where we're established. If you're a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
If you want to raise something
If you have a question about these terms, or something you'd like to raise, please use the contact page.
